The problem the fossil fuel industry has is that it can’t monopolize the solar industry. The solar industry is based on physical labor and tangible parts. The fossil fuel industry is based on supply and demand, not labor. Simply put, fossil fuels are finite and solar energy is infinite.
Even the solar companies are having a very difficult time scaling up to get control of their industry. It seems quite apparent that the solar industry will not be controlled by a handful of conglomerates like the fossil fuel industry. It’s crystal clear that the solar industry is going to require an army of workers whereas the oil companies use a platoon. Because oil companies are not as labor intensified, all the profits go to a few. The oil companies will not be able to compete when it comes to the amount of jobs the solar industry will provide.
